The Wine Club held its Annual General Meeting on 4th November and was well attended by 20 members.
The following officers and committee were elected for the coming year:
Chairman - Kent Sandiford; Treasurer - Maureen Hoskins; Secretary/Publicity - Isobel Taylor; General Committee - Heather Charman, Francis Dickinson, Peter Grady, Suzanne Grady, Keith Walton; Raffle Officers - Suzanne and Peter Grady.
The programme approved for 2015 includes some regular favourites - a New Year dinner, skittles, a summer party and one for Christmas, wine-tastings, a vineyard visit - as well as an Italian themed evening, and a "beer and cider pub night".
The last event of this year is our Christmas party, on Tuesday 2nd December, 8.00 pm at the Christchurch Centre.
The club was founded in 1977 and meets once a month (except August), usually with a guest speaker or wine expert.
