Our first stop was at Kent's, where we sampled Merlot from California and from Australia, and a fine selection of cheeses. It was then Suzanne C.'s turn. Suzanne had chosen a Bordeaux, a Malbec and a California Pinot Grigio, all of which were much appreciated. Our last hosts were Peter and Suzanne R. who had put together a tempting selection of wines from Chile - a Chardonnay, a Merlot, a Cabernet Sauvignon rose, and a Shiraz. In June we have our croquet evening at the Reigate Croquet Club, in Park Lane. Note the date, Wednesday the 6th, at 7.30 p.m. Out of respect for the croquet lawn, please remember to wear flat shoes.
