July 2019 Meeting

Our July had twenty-four members, a retired member and a guest of the Nutfield Wine Club enjoyed the club’s summer party at the local venue of the South Nutfield Cricket Club (SNCC). 

Our party overlapped with the finish of the SNCC colts’ game. We were fortunate that the weather was favourable, and we were able to have food and refreshments outside. 

Thanks to Jim Paulett and the SNCC for the venue, Heather for organising the event, and to Mary and Derek for the raffle. 

And thanks to members for their delicious food contributions. A particularly interesting contribution was a fruit wine, that Eileen’s late husband had made around 2004. It had matured well.

We next meet for an excursion to a local vineyard on Saturday 17th August.
