October 2016 Meeting

In October eighteen Wine Club members joined the monthly gathering of quiz enthusiasts at the Station Pub. We formed two teams, the "Red Winos" and "Ken Dodd's Dad's Dog's Dead" (Try saying that at the end of the evening!). 

The former came 12th with 32 points and the latter did better in 5th place with 37 points, the overall winners having scored 43. The occasion was voted a thoroughly enjoyable success.

On 1st November, 8.00 pm, we meet at Christchurch for our AGM when we shall be looking at next years's programme. So we need a good turnout. There will also be more quizzing to test your grey cells.
