Wednesday 5th June was a beautiful summer's evening for the Club's visit to the Croquet Club attended by fifteen members. In such a lovely setting it was as much a pleasure for non-players as for those who took part in the friendly games, and all enjoyed watching the tame pied wagtail. Two players (Kelvin and Isobel) each succeeded in making a score in one.
Laurie and Ron provided a seasonal Pimms and we are most grateful to them for organizing a very successful evening.
The next event is the summer party at the Lloyd Hall in Outwood. Please note the date is Wednesday 3rd July, at 7.30 p.m.
The club was founded in 1977 and meets once a month (except August), usually with a guest speaker or wine expert.
