April 2012 meeting

Around 30 members enjoyed a great talk from Chris Hoskins on the history and his local group of Morris Men dancers. With a pictorial and video clips showing different costumes worn from county to county over
the last 100 years. Many thanks to Chris and Maureen from all the members.

This was followed by a quiz of famous landmarks from around London in the early 20th century which was won by Derek Freeman.

Next meeting is our Tipplers Stroll, 1st May at 7.30pm which starts at Kent's house, 55 Mid Street (next to school) then moving on Suzanne Copeland, finishing at Peter Grady.
