The choices included well presented old favourites such as fish pie, lamb steak, liver and bacon, followed by sticky toffee pudding, strawberry pavlova (a strong favourite), apple crumble. Less traditional were the duck and bacon salad, a chicken and mushroom risotto, and a salted caramel and chocolate pot.
