The Wine Club’s “Tipplers Stroll” on Tuesday, 6th June, was a delightful evening thanks to the hospitality of Heather and then of Janet and Graham. Happily the strolling distance between the two venues was easily manageable and we were also blessed with a dry and sunny evening!
Nineteen members and one guest were treated to an interesting range of wines to suit all tastes from reds (Shiraz and Merlot), whites (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio) and two rosés. Our hosts also provided a very fine spread of nibbles and snacks.
Many thanks to them for making such a success of our evening.
Our next outing is the Summer Party on Tuesday, 4th July starting at 7.00pm at Bower Hill Farm, with kind permission of Guy Amos.
The club was founded in 1977 and meets once a month (except August), usually with a guest speaker or wine expert.
